Ways We Can Work Together

Retainer Consulting.  We represent a client company as an extension of its purchasing/sourcing functions. This begins with complete understanding of the client company's situation, objectives, and constraints.  We perform services for the client effortlessly and seamlessly as if we were the temporary employees of our clients.

Project Consulting.  Proposed and billed on a per-project and per-milestone basis, project consulting offers a client company a way to harness our specific qualities and use our expertise to solve specific problems, develop and/or implement plans, and develop specific sourcing information.

Market Research.  A group study is a packaged and published complete study of a specific supplier, industry, or topic. Examples include studies of the implications of changing suppliers for a specfici product or component.

Training. Our experienced “China Hands” (more than 40 years of experience doing business in China) provide “hands on” training at two different levels on “How to Do Business in China”. The basic seminar is for businessmen and women with limited experience in China and their spouses. The advanced seminar is for those businessmen and women who have considerable experience with China but who need to exploit that knowledge by “going on to the next level” of actually getting their sourcing plan executed in China. All of our training is unique because each seminar is staffed with two instructors (an American expatriate and a Chinese-American) providing a broad viewpoint on all aspects of ChinaBizNow. All our staff live and work in China and only leave China when there is a requirement to conduct a seminar. Online training at both levels is also available.

How to Work in Sourcing With China IPO?

China IPO works closely with our customers from the beginning of a project to ongoing product delivery.  The offshore sourcing process to an international customer typically comprises three stages:

1. REQUEST FOR QUOTATION

CUSTOMER
Send to China IPO by email a statement/scope of work indicating the services you would like ChinaBizNow to perform for you in China.  A somewhat complete list of China IPO Sourcing services is shown below:

  1. Reviewing Chinese supplier quality systems
  2. Reviewing Chinese supplier production capability
  3. Reviewing buyer plans and specifications for “contractibility” and ease of understanding by Chinese suppliers
  4. Conducting “soft metrication” of plans and specifications
  5. Performing value engineering/value analysis of buyer plans and specifications
  6. Negotiating and writing quality international contracts and purchase orders in both English and Chinese
  7. Inspecting Chinese supplier production while in process as well as completed goods for contract compliance and quality
  8. Accomplishing “expediting” of production and delivery from Chinese suppliers
  9. Assuring goods are properly prepared for export
  10. Managing the transportation and export of goods from China
  11. Facilitating buyer-supplier negotiations or conducting negotiations on behalf of buyer
  12. Resolution of buyer-supplier disputes behalf of buyer
  13. Providing translation and interpretation services as needed
  14. Other sourcing services not included above.  (Customer describe)

Please provide by email or otherwise a complete package including contract/purchase order terms and conditions, specification(s), drawing(s), quantity/volume, and any special requirements to China IPO, preferably by email.  This package might include a sample.

 CHINA IPO
Evaluate statement/scope of work and submit either firm-fixed-price or time-and-materials proposal for the required services.

2. QUALIFICATION      

CUSTOMER
Evaluate proposal for services from China IPO.
Issue purchase order with statement of work for services to China IPO by Fax or Email.
PLEASE NOTE: China IPO will NOT BE the supplier of the goods and the name of the Chinese supplier must appear on any contracts or purchase orders issued by the purchaser!

CHINA IPO
Commence work on the Customer’s Purchase Order and provide periodic reporting on project execution.

3.    PRODUCTION, DELIVERY, AND PAYMENT

CUSTOMER
Issue production PO directly to the supplier or require China IPO to issue the PO using the customer’s “paper”.
Receive products, conduct receiving inspection, and make payments to the Chinese Supplier and China IPO.

CHINA IPO
Assist the Customer as directed in the Customer Purchase Order to China IPO.
